International Design - Pick n Mix

So much to look at - let's get right in there...

Ofra Lapid creates scale models of abandoned 'broken houses' from multiple photographs of the buildings, assembled and then photographed again on a grey background.

These origami lampshades by Studio Snowpuppe (Netherlands) are hand-folded from parchment paper. I love a lot.

Kitties with embroidered laser-beams coming out of their mouths and eyes!! Heck yes!
Nowvember make all sorts of cute random things. (Found at Tornadoes & Tigers.)
Letters of enormous size! Made of welded steel or powder-coated resin, by Jimmy Fiction
(Found at the font lover's porn palace, typetoken.)

How cool are these mid century modern-style birdhouses by Burd Haus, check them out here.
My favourite is the final one in the images above - called the 'Scandinavian Feeder in Knoll Orange'.
I like to see what the birdies are up to. (bird)spotted at Design Milk.

Another great idea from generally-pretty-avant-garde product designer Stephan Schulz

Absoloodely beoodeeful. Designers Coco Flip from Melbourne, Australia make these pendant lamps with turned victorian ash, and spun aluminium. Each light is individually handcrafted, meaning no two are exactly alike. (via design vagabond)
