Built in 1841, Hotel De Brett was one of Auckland's very first hotels. And now it's one of it's coolest. The property has been reinterpreted as a boutique accommodation (25 rooms only), styled with an eclectic mid-century aesthetic by co-owner and interior designer Michelle Deer. Kitchen, it's inhouse restaurant, has just been named as a finalist in the Cuisine New Zealand Restaurant of the Year Awards.
