All Hallow's Eve!!

It's 2 days away! Halloween is my FAVORITE! I so look forward to this day/night all year long. Decorating the house for this candy and spook filled night is so fun and if you are still not quite finished with your decorations, here are some pics of inspiration. You can go for all out creepy or choose a more kid friendly theme. Either way, have fun decorating it up!

Cute idea and a great way to reuse old milk/water jugs. The kids can help make them! : )

Kerri's Gorgeous Holiday Decor!!

I know that the holidays are over but I just had to share these pictures from my friend, Kerri. She went all out making beautiful decorations for her home for Christmas! Lots of her creations are Pinterest inspired... and you know how I LOVE Pinterest! I hope you enjoy them too!!
(By the way, have you heard about High Fashion Home on Pinterest?! Oh yes!)

A close-up of her "chandelier". Paper lanterns and big pom poms!! I love it so.
(Pom poms were made by Kerri using tips and inspiration from Nashville Wraps and Blue Eyed Yonder)

Just so beautiful! Kerri got her table set up and decor inspiration from imgfave.

The paper flower garlands are so fun and Kerri made those too!
(For directions on how to make these garlands, visit The Happy Home Blog)

 Fabulous!! Kerri, you amaze me!

Atlanta Botanical Gardens - Festival of Lights!

I saw this today on Inhabitat. Atlanta Botanical Gardens collaborated with Lighting Science Group and CD + M Lighting and Design Group to create this LED topiary light display. The lights are synchronized with music. It's so beautiful and so different.... I bet we see more of this next year!

Christmas Decorations!!!

Alright folks! It's crunch time, time to get serious.... about Christmas decorations that is. If you are anything like me, having your house decorated for the holidays just adds to being in the Holiday Spirit. Here are some ideas if you need some decorating inspiration.

I absolutely love using pine cones for Christmas decorating! You can use them like this, put a bunch in a pretty basket or even get crafty and glitter 'em up! Some stores even sell bags of pine cones that are cinnamon scented.

So festive! All the red, hanging stars and snowflakes. Love it!

Such a wonderful idea for displaying Christmas cards!

So beautiful.

Decorative Christmas balls or ornaments in tall vases, bowls or fancy martini glasses are an easy but very fabulous decorating idea!

Thanksgiving Is Next Week..... What?!?

Riding in the car today, my 14 year old nephew turns to me and says, "Can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week?" I must have looked confused and of course I was thinking, "No. It's not next week" but it is!! Wasn't yesterday Halloween? So, of course I had to spring into action and offer up some Thanksgiving decorating ideas so here they are!

Love this succulent, persimmon, moss and pine cone mix!! So beautiful.

Another shot from the same table. I think the persimmons as place holders is so cute!

Love the colors on this table!

WOW! Perhaps a little over the top but WOW!

So beautiful and of course it's from Martha.

I love the DIY flowers so much! Such a bonus that they are made out of paper bags!

HALLOWEEN!!! BOO!

I absolutely LOVE Halloween and it's only 2 weeks away!!! This is my favorite time of year and I have decorated for Halloween since I was a kid. I was searching the web a little while ago to see what great decorating ideas and fun stuff I could find and wanted to share some of what I found with you. SO FUN!!

Love the Happy Halloween banner. An Etsy find from GracieBee.

I love the look of this!! All the pumpkins, the birds and the branches. I will be using some of these ideas. It looks amazing!

I really want this one!! It's a Gourd Jack o' Lantern Candy Bowl from Natskreations. Have the kids reach through the eyes sockets to get their candy!!

This looks awesome!! A bat cave for your little Batman or Batgirl.

I really love all the pumpkins grouped together. Pumpkins are already so neat looking that stacking them together is easy yet eye-catching.

Yep, I have these Spider Larva Balls hanging outside my house! Love them!
