I love seeing the personal projects of established designers. Like these ones, from NZ designer Emily Macrae. This first one below, Nine Lives, dips into how our older generation are affected by the massive rate of change in our world; the societal shifts they've seen in their lifetime.
Emily designed the second book, Champion, as a gift for her mother. She kept to an understated aesthetic befitting of her mum's personality, and filled the pages with photographs, letters, drawings and song lyrics. One to watch, for sure.
