Did you know that that beautiful New Zealand bird the Kokako is super duper endangered? There's only a few hundred North Island Kokako left, while the South Island Kokako is already thought to be extinct. Extinct! That's not cool at all. Chalky Digits have designed a little wooden Kokako badge (which you can buy online here), with all proceeds going to the Kaharoa Kokako Nest Egg Fund. They commissioned New Zealand artist Lianne Edwards to create a design representing the Kokako, and as well as having a simplified version of her design as the wooden fundraising badge, it shows up as a mustard or grey marle Chalky Digits t-shirt, and that awesome cushion up there...I really want that cushion...
