Fancy Loves: Maddie

I already put one of these pics of Maddie on the Fancy Facebook Page a few days ago... but in case we're not mates over there, I want to make sure you know about Maddie the Coonhound...

Because life is just BETTER with stuff like this in it.

Her fame started with Maddie On Things - a photography project by Maddie's person, Theron Humphrey. The idea was just pictures of Maddie, standing on things. Then came a book. And now, a book tour the old fashioned way - Maddie and Theron road tripping around the USA in a ute. Along the way, they are putting together another photo project, called Why We Rescue - about how cool it is to adopt a rescue dog, rather than going to a breeder.

This brand is my spirit animal

Ferm is my spirit animal. I love every single thing in their new collection. Allllll of the items. Especially the new cushions - I would literally fornicate with those cylinder cushions.

Fancy Loves... THIS. CHAIR.

I love Hay's About a Chair collection - especially the tub chairs, in white or coral.
Designed by Copenhagen-based Hee Welling, the idea behind the collection was 'conspicuous simplicity'. (PS: If you're in NZ and you want one or three, Corporate Culture are NZ stockists of Hay furniture and homeware.) Also helps that the styling is the balls.

Fancy Loves Ferm Living's new collection.

Those grey and fluro orange cushions!
That duvet cover!
Those little copper desk containers!
Other items with exclamation marks!
Ferm Living's new collection is brilliant in parts.
(I say in parts because I think their baskets look a little too close for comfort to the Varpunen ones.)

PS: Why are we all saying neon around here? We say fluro in NZ don't we? Come on, don't tell me you've forgotten those bike pants I wore in 1989.
