Did you think I'd let one of the biggest events the NZ creative industry puts on come and go,
without talking about it. Oh nononono Peter.
We Can Create is happening in Auckland next Saturday (Oct 27) and I have two tickets to give away.
It's a full-on day of inspiration from some of the most mind-expanding creatives from New Zealand and the world. And of course, you take home the We Can Create book, and a bunch of side events
Firstly, if you don't win or you're too cool to enter blog competitions (It's OK, I get it), the tickets have been reduced to half price - $120 GA and $90 for Students. That is actually mental. Get yours over at 1-night.
On the list, are your cousins from Assembly (Auckland) who make some of NZ's best TVCs, and NZ typographic illustrator Sarah Maxey. She's easily one of my favourites and I'd go just to see her. Then we have global phenomenon Adbusters, german design brothers Thomas and Martin Poschauko, graphic artist Rocking Jelly Bean and UK designer Jonathan Barnbook. Annnnd UK audio-visual maestros SuperEverything will close the show with a live cinema extravaganza.
