Shit I like and shit. I'm a copywriter.
Tilka is the product of a husband and wife team who couldn't find any manufacturers of textile electrical cords in their country (Hungary), so they decided to create their own. (Now they just need an English website or a NZ stockist).
Swing Blade Pencil Sharpener, by design studio Free Time (sweet name guys). Making the ritual of sharpening your creative tools more stylish and poetic. Or something.
This has been doing the internet rounds a bit lately, a new ad from Chipotle, designed/animated by Johnny Kelly (check some more of his work here). If you haven't watched it, it's worth 2 minutes of your time. A little bit gentle and lovely, a little bit touching, even for a cynic like me.
Judgemental stamps. I'd use them on crappy direct mailers from Farmers Beauty Club and bad community newspaper ads. $12 each from Schooled.
Cool ass wallpaper by design Kirath Ghundoo. Mix and Match will be exhibited this month at London Design Festival.
The Design Sponge book is out and I'm so buying a copy. Blogger Grace Bonney has taken what makes Design Sponge the world's most successful design blog, and turned it into 390 pages of interiors inspiration, DIY projects and design ideas. Watch the cute video above to find out how much cool creative stuff they've packed into the pages, then go read The Design Files interview with Grace here. (These book images were pinched from The Design Files.)
