The restaurant has massive curbside appeal. The wood veneer panels with the stainless steel accent trim gives it a very mid-century modern feel.
From the good folks at the Contemporist, the recently opened Vesu restaurant in Walnut Creek, California has been creating quite a buzz for their food and decor. Arcsine Architecture and Bellusci Design transformed an old piano store into an culinary spectacle, right in the heart of Walnut Creek's downtown district.
The designer carried the wood gesture from the outside to the inside.
I like the pendant filament lights.
The bar is not too big, yet it is very impactful. The back lights behind the liquor bottles create a nice presence for the wall.
I can't get enough of that wood paneling. The bar top is made out of a quartz-like material.
This is a huge dining area with a nice balance of light and dark elements. I'm always a big fan of high back booth seating.
The reserved dining area incorporates a more intimate color scheme along with carpeting, instead of floor tiles. I love the chandeliers.
