Living room with bookcase wallpaper

The library scene is made of walnut veener for the beauty of a wooden bookcase in a less bulky form. The lookalike rug is actually wooden-printed rubber tiles.

Spacious white living room

The built-in fireplace is visable from both sides of the dividing wall. A black table and lounge chairs are minimal attributes to this spacious living room.

Retro living room

An egg-style chair adds a retro edge to this living area, while a low sideboard is the perfect storage space for magazines, books and other bits and pieces. A sunburst mirror and a ‘love’ print bring personal touches to the scheme, while bright accessories introduce colour to the all-white room.

Dramatic living room

Wall panelling, painted white, sets the mood for this living room - traditional with a modern twist. A brass fire surround and classic painting contrast with the vivid purple chair, industrial pendant light and modern leather sofa.

Tranquil living room

This room has such a calming feel. Soft green walls, white wooden floorboards, rich brown furniture and an antique chandelier all combine to create such a soft, but warm look.

Contemporary wood living room

Elegant, wood-effect wallpaper is much easier to hang than real cladding, and subtle enough to decorate a whole room with. The grain pattern draws the eye up, making the ceiling feel higher.

Bespoke walnut living room

This living room is an oasis of calm with clever built-in storage units. The open alcoves showcase all the best features.

Edgy white living room

The intricate woven structure of the chair and table create a delicate spider's web effect - the synthetic material means it can be used outdoors.

Chic and sleek living room

Bold monochrome patterns, luxe leather and ultramodern materials combine to create this contemporary look. A monochrome backdrop with a bold accent colour looks sophisticated but is easy to put together.

Bold blue living room

Walls in a bold and vibrant hue make a striking contrast to the white furniture and accessories. Loose covers in hard-wearing linen are a practical choice and enhance the mismatched theme.

Narrow living room

To utilise every spare inch of a narrow living room, plan floor-to-ceiling storage shelves and add ladders for easy access.

Open-plan retro living room

A compact dining table and statement chairs create a casual dining space in this living room. The painting gives the table presence, while also reflecting the retro vibe within the room.

Tropical living room

Turn up the heat in your living room with electrifying colours and jungle foliage. Bright furniture pieces give any room the feel-good factor.

Mixed florals living room

Steel grey and acid green florals, juxtaposed to punchy effect, give the room an edgier look. The addition of industrial metal furniture makes the green pop even more intensely.

Bold modern living room

Grey walls and accents tone down bold red furniture and homeware, giving this living room a sophisticated finish. Retro-print fabric makes a unique artwork when used as panels on the walls.

Warm pink living room

A mix of modern and antique furniture gives this living room a warm and welcoming feel. The peonies piece has the feel of an Old Masters about it and yet looks contemporary because of its oversized dimensions.

Botanical living room

Combining hard surface with organic shape, these side tables look like stylised lily pad islands in this living room. When grouped together, they are a modern update on a nest of tables.
