Hi-end luxury real estate is back! An ultra luxury home in Indian Creek was just sold for $47,000,000. The home, located at 3 Indian Creek Island Road, in Indian Creek Village, Florida is a state of the art ultra-luxury mansion with 10 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms partially occupying 30,000 square feet of interior living space, and is situated on a lot measuring 80,000 square feet, with 200 linear feet of water frontage facing the wide bay.
Shlomi Alexander and Felix Cohen purchased the empty Indian Creek Village lot for $10,306,400 in 2007 and subsequently built the mansion on speculation. Initially listed for $60,000,000, the price was reduced to $52,000,000 in March, after having been on the market for sale since 2008, when building began. According to a report in the Wall Street Journal "Mr. Alexander said he credits his decision to put a $60 million price tag on the home with attracting the kind of attention that led to a sale. "I created the hype," he said."
WSJ reports that the buyer is a Russian who purchased the Indian Creek home in the name of an LLC (limited liability corporation).
