Three New Zealand mates were studying in Japan a couple of years ago, getting around on bikes like so many others living in the city. They started talking about how cool it would be if they could get more New Zealanders out of their cars and onto bikes, and over a beer, decided to design a range of bikes that were stylish but affordable. Now back home in New Zealand (Christchurch), they've launched two Archi bikes so far, a retro step-through style in a range of colours, and the fixies in the black or white colourway.
