You don't really see barstools at the main kitchen counter top, but I really like it.  If your kitchen doesn't have space for an island, this is the best possible compromise to create seating space in you kitchen.

The secret to decorating any home...musical instruments.  Even if you don't play an instrument, fake it.  Placing a guitar strategically in certain areas automatically increases your interior design style quotient.
